In the third women’s T20I played on Tuesday, India top beat South Africa by 10 wickets owing to an outstanding all-around performance.
Radha Yadav and Pooja Vastrakar chose to bowl, and two claimed 7 wickets as India bowled South Africa out for 84 runs in 17.1 overs.
Then, to tie the series 1-1, Shafali Varma (27) and Smriti Mandhana (54) reached the target, hitting 88 for no loss in 10.5 overs.
Pooja (4/13) and Radha (3/6) were outstanding performances as India made a focused effort.
Tazmim Brits led the South Africans in scoring with 23 runs for 20 balls, whereas Anneke Bosch with 17 and Marizanne Kapp with 10.

The visitors crumbled for 84 to all but give up the game halfway through on the same ground where they scored 189 and 177, with Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma building on Pooja’s outstanding performance. She finished with a career-best 4 for 13. India’s chase was a formality as they finished in just 10.5 overs to tie the series.
