With the introduction of new unlimited plans, Jio has significantly raised its rates with the hike rate of almost 12.5 % to 27 % on all its tariff plans. For example: The lowest recharge now costs ₹19, which is almost 27% more than the ₹15 add-on pack for 1 GB of data.

On, Thursday 27 June 2024, Reliance Jio announces its jio new plan and tariff hikes. From the first week of July, (July 3, 2024) Jio will significantly increase the tariffs on all of its existing plans. With this shocking news, jio also announces the good news as well for its users. This telecom company has also launched two new apps called JioSafe and JioTranslate, which Jio customers may download for free for a full year.

The 75 GB postpaid data package was previously priced at ₹399, but it is now available for ₹449. Additionally, Jio increased the cost of the popular plan of ₹666 unlimited plan with an 84-day validity period to ₹799, with a hike rate of almost 20% more than the previous.

The increased rate will apply to all plans, including monthly, daily, and annual. Users can check and compare the existing plans with new plans by checking the list of plans with both the previous and current prices.

Jio announced the release of JioSafe and JioTranslate, two new apps that will broaden its digital ecosystem. JioSafe provides secure file transfers, texting, and calling at Rs 199 per month. With a monthly cost of Rs 99, JioTranslate uses artificial intelligence to translate voice calls, texts, text, and photos, facilitating multilingual communication. Notably, Jio is extending the value offering of its services by providing its subscribers with free access to both applications for a whole year.
